Google chrome open file not download

Is there any possible way wherein I can make Chrome prompt the “Open file” option instead of it downloading to my computer?Sometimes when I browse and find a PDF in my search results I do not want to download and open from my computer. I would prefer to “Open” it.

If you search and then open a pdf page in Google Chrome browser, by default it opens in the browser itself. After closing Chrome, opening it again and no download would run. I would need to open Task manager and forcibly close all Google Chrome instance, and then start Google Chrome again. Then I could download file again, and after the first download, same issue repeated.
